The NCC is functioning in the College with the aim of fostering self-confidence, discipline, teamwork and leadership. It also seeks to provide basic military training up to the level of infantry section. One hundred and six cadets, including 13 girls, have enrolled their names for the year 2005-06. The NCC undertakes active work in the village 'Jakhangaon' which it has adopted for the purpose of development. The NCC also organizes rallies, camps, etc. for which enrollment is voluntary. All expenses on uniform, kit, annual training etc. are borne by the Government. The military training that the NCC cadets get enables them to join the Indian Army.
