The B.P.H. Education Society's Ahmednagar College, established in 1947, stands as a testament to educational excellence. Situated on a sprawling 32.9-acre campus at the heart of Ahmednagar city, it was the first college to be established in Ahmednagar district. The founder, Dr. B.P. Hivale, envisioned a college that would "provide higher education for the students who for various reasons would not otherwise be able to have it."
As a multi-faculty institution affiliated to the University of Pune, the college offers comprehensive programs across Arts, Science, and Commerce faculties. Despite being a Christian Minority Institution, our college embraces diversity, creating a vibrant cosmopolitan atmosphere where students and faculty from various parts of India and Maharashtra thrive together.
